HOT CHOCOLATE FOR THE SOUL

INGREDIENTS

50-80 gms dark chocolate, 100 ml whole milk, 60 ml cream, 40 ml water (to bring out the flavour of cooked chocolate), 1/2 tsp coffee powder, 1/2 tsp vanilla essence, 2 tbsp whipped cream (optional), 1 tbsp chocolate shavings.

METHOD

Warm milk, cream and water to boiling point. Chop chocolate and leave aside.Add coffee to milk-cream mixture and bring to boil again.Turn off the fire and drop in chopped chocolate. Swirl the mixture about until chocolate dissolves.Add vanilla essence and pour into mug. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
